History
The Infinity Formula was a longevity serum that could allow a person to live young for many years. (Marvel Spotlight v1 #31)
It was originally part of the Elixir of Life used by the Brotherhood of the Shield by the year 1652 with it going by many names depending on potency including the Forever Compound, the Second Substance and the Infinity Formula. By this point, the Patriarch of the Shield Isaac Newton used it to buy the loyalty of his fellow brothers by offering them a long life and punished them with mortality. (S.H.I.E.L.D. v1 #4)
