Code Geass
Suzaku Kururugi (Japanese: 枢木 スザク / くるるぎすざく), Hepburn: Kururugi Suzaku) was a male human born on July 10, 2000 as the son of Japanese Prime Minister Genbu Kururugi (枢木 ゲンブ, Kururugi Genbu). His existence was kept a secret from the world. During this time, he came to meet Lelouch vi Britannia and his sister Nunnally vi Britannia when they moved to the Kururugi residence as a diplomatic peace trade. At first, Suzaku came to despise Lelouch because he thought that he was a prince who did not care about anyone. However, as time passed by, he came to know Lelouch better with the two soon becoming best friends. Later on, the Holy Empire of Britannia came to invade Japan leading to the two becoming separated. During the invasion of Japan, Suzaku became mortified by the violence and his father's belief that resisting to the bitter end was preferable to surrender. This resulted in a heat exchange where he was unable to change his father's mind and accidentally murdered him.
After joining the military, the remains of his family cut contact with Suzaku.

It was then that Suzaku and Lelouch decided to engage in a large scale gambit in order to promote peace in the world. This plan was known as the Zero Requiem and involved Lelouch taking the throne of Britannia whereupon he would become a tyrant. The goal was to unite the world against him as a singular threat and that with his demise peace would reign in the aftermath. Suzaku began to portray himself as Lelouch's loyal knight and bodyguard where he seemingly showed that he was only interested in rising in the ranks. Lelouch used his power to gain control of the Britannian throne as he declared himself Emperor Lelouch vi Britannia with Suzaku as the Knight of Zero.
In the battle with Kallen, Suzaku managed to badly damage her machibe tgus defeatingbher and puttingbher out of the battle. However, she similarly damaged his Lancelot causing it ti explode and seemingly killimg Kururugi, in reality, he managed to survive where he waited in the shadows to enact the next stage of the plan. As such, he watched as Lelouch consolidated his rule aroubd the world with hatred rising for the Emperor of Britannia. Emperor Lelouch had a parade in the streets of Japan, Suzaku emerged dressed as Zero that masked his true identity. This moment led to the culmination of the Zero Gambit whereby Kururugi moved in bypassing the Emperor's guards and killed Lelouch. As Lelouch was fatally stabbed, he thanked his friend whereby he stated that from now on Suzaku must forever wear the mask of Zero to be the symbol to the people. A tearful Suzaku accepted this role as Lelouch died whereupon Area 11 gained it's freedom. He maintained the masked life of Zero as the world began to embrace peace as it believed that Emperor Lelouch vi Britannia was the fave of evil that oppresses it. Thus, the plan of both Lelouch and Suzaku worked as peace finally came to pass.
