Biography
Money D. Luffy was born in Foosha Village in the East Blue region as the son of Monkey D. Dragon and an unknown woman. As a child, he was left in the care of his grandfather Monkey D. Garp' who made his grandson do many dangerous things in an effort to make him stronger. Among these included throwing him off a deep ravine, leaving him alone in the wild and tying him to a balloon. He was 6 years old when Shanks and his Red Hair Pirates had stationed themselves in the village.
