The Heather Douglas of Earth-616 was at a remote bar on another world having not heard from the Guardians in months. It was then that Bug informed her that he had seen her working with the team recently. Moondragon quickly learnt that the other Heather Douglas was a version of her from another reality that was deemed a more perfect universe with this one being married to their love Phyla-Vell. Moondragon came to resent her counterpart and believed she had taken her life with this leading to her falling under the influence of the Dragon of the Moon. She then orchestrated the formation of another Guardians team led by Gamora who resented Rocket for the seeming death of Star-Lord. Moondragon intended to use them to kill her counterpart and take back her life. During their battle, the other Heather Douglas managed to overpower Moondragon and defeat the Dragon of the Moon during their psychic battle. She then re-conciled with her Earth-616 counterpart where the two merged into a single being.
