Biography

Teela was a female human inhabitant of Eternia who was born the biological daughter of the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull. Her mother had to give away her infant daughter and left her in the care of Man-At-Arms who came to raise her as his own daughter.

Overview

Personality and attributes

Teela always pushed herself to be the most skilled and accomplished warrior in the Kingdom of Eternos. This was because she would always be judged against her father Man-At-Arms accomplishments which led to Teela never failing to rise to a challenge.

Powers and abilities

Teela is a great weapons master and fighter as well. She trained at a very young age at fighting and weapon mastery and is the captain of the royal guard of Eternia.

Due to being the daughter of the Sorceress, in some stories she is sometimes shown having magical powers, even comparable to those of the Sorceress herself.

  • Teela was created by Mattel where she featured in the setting of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
  • Writer Donald F. Glut in an interview said that he named the character after Gunga Ram's elephant from the Andy's Gang television show.
