As part of her test, she had X-23 sent to Dayesville where she had the Trigger Scent placed on her to send Laura into a rampage. Whilst affected, X-23 used her own claws to pierce her brain to render herself unconscious to prevent her from killing anyone. As a result, Kimura had Bellona kill the people on the town and claim to the awakened Laura that she had done the killing. (All-New Wolverine v1 #18)

During the fight, X-23 tackled Kimura into the waters by the coast where she drowned her foe and killed her. (All-New Wolverine v1 #18)
