Ronnie Raymond was a Black Lantern Corps version of Firestorm that came to survive his initial destruction in the Blackest Night. - The concept of Deathstorm was created by Geoff Johns, Peter Tomasi, Ivan Reis, Patrick Gleason and Joe Prado where it made its first appearance in Brightest Day v1 #10 (November, 2010).
Alternate Versions
- In The Curse of Brimstone v1 #11 (2019), an alternate version of Deathstorm was shown to exist within the Dark Multiverse. This version was from a world where Ronnie Raymond and Jason Rusch died with Martin Stein using the Firestorm Matrix to bond with their corpses where he became a supervillain called Infernal. During the collapse of his reality, he looked to escape his world by creating a rift from the chaos.
