Original Timeline
Bo' Rai Cho was a male human who was a native to the realm of Outworld.
In an effort to claim Earthrealm, Outworld decided to take part in the Mortal Kombat Tournament with Shang Tsung sponsoring the matches. Due to his birth realm, he was unable to participate in the tournament as his victory would be counted in the favour of Shao Kahn. Looking to aid Earthrealm, Bo' Rai Cho came to secretly train warriors for competition.

During the Armageddon, Shao Kahn ultimately won where all of creation faced destruction but during the last moments of Raiden he managed to his past experiences back to his younger self. Among his students was Shaolion Monk Liu Kang who he had taught martial arts so that he could win the Mortal Kombat tournment.
