Overview

In appearance, the Rose was a masked persona where the individual was garbed in a purple costume that hide their face and typically wore a business suit. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #253)

When faced with a threat, the Rose was known to make use of pistols to fend off enemies. They also used grenades that contained special gases which was used to eliminate threats. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #253)

It was said that they did not engage in physical combat and employed underlings for this task. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #253)

One of the calling cards of the villain was to leave a black rose at the site of his crimes with a written note left for his targets. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #253)
