*In Spider-Man, Jack Murdock made a brief appearance in a flashback sequence in the 1994 animated series episode "Framed" with a non-voiced role and was not named. He was shown when Matt Murdock explained his backstory to Peter Parker who said that his father was a boxer who struggled to make ends meet to provide for his family. This caused him to hire himself as a thug to Wilson Fisk where he robbed a convenience store but his young son Matt Murdock saw him in the end. Shocked at his fathers actions, Matt fled with his father attempting to explain when the boy ran onto the street as a tanker truck was driving. The crash caused radioactive chemicals to blind Matt Murdock who was hospitalized. The tankers movement of the radioactive chemicals was illegal with Jack Murdock investigating and he discovered that the transport was done so by the actions of Wilson Fisk. Murdock attempted to find proof which he discovered but he was caught by Fisk's men and was never seen again.
