Her experience led to her being hired by Lucius Fox who wanted her to protect Wayne Enterprises head Bruce Wayne though Bordeaux was initially reluctant to take on the assignment before she ultimately agreed. (Detective Comics v1 #751) Wayne later disappeared with Sasha attempting to find him and went to Wayne Manor where he arrived with lipstick on his face claiming that he had gone out with a date. The angry Bordeaux commented that he was making her job as his bodyguard difficult but he apologised and offered to make her breakfast. (Detective Comics v1 #572)
