After discovering Spider-Man, Norman Osborn and Dr. Stromm desired the secret of his abilities as it could save the company by perfecting the human performance enhancers. As a result, the Spider-Slayers were deployed but they ended up hunting the Scorpion due to his similar arachnid DNA.
- In The Amazing Spider-Man, the Spider-Slayers were re-named as the S-Bots that were antagonists in the video game adaptation of the movie.
