Films
- In Justice League: Gods and Monsters, the Metal Men appeared as antagonists in the alternate world setting of the animated movie and though present they were not named as such. They were all creations of Doctor Will Magnus who was a brilliant scientist in the field of robotics and nanotechnology. He created Tin to serve as a helper at this home and built the shapeshifting Platinum to replace his wife Tina after he accidently killed her. The other three were built partly to resemble the three members of the Justice League and were equipped with Mother Boxes for rapid transit. With them, he used them to assassinate the scientists of Project: Fair Play and framed the Justice League for their murders. This brought hostilities between the Justice League and the United States government allowing for Magnus to move forward with his plans to implant everyone in the world with nanites. Wonder Woman destroyed Tin and sent Platinum into the sun whilst Superman destroyed the merged form of the other three by smashing them into lava deep underground.
