History
Origin
The Monster Society of Evil were a group of supervillains gathered together by Mister Mind.
Among the recruits into his organization included Doctor Sivana, Ibac, Nippo and Mr. Banjo. Bringing together his Monster Society, he enlisted the aid of Captain Nazi and tasked the villain with stealing the magic pearl from the Indian Princess Dareena Rajabuti. (Captain Marvel Adventures v1 #22)
Afterwards, Mister Mind approached the Sivana Family about re-organising the Monster Society to enact a new scheme against the Marvel Family. This saw Ibac join their ranks as the villains looked to use special tools against the superheroes. (Shazam! v1 #14)
Mister Mind came to reform the Monster Society that now included Oggar amongst their ranks as they made a new plot against Captain Marvel. (World's Finest v1 #264)
Post-Flashpoint
Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
Originally, the Monster Society consisted of a group of villainous beings from the different parts of the seven Magic Lands who rallied under Mr. Mind. Long ago, they battled the Wizard only to be defeated and imprisoned where they were chained in cells for all eternity. (Shazam! v3 #11)
After being freed, Mr. Mind formed an alliance with Dr. Sivana who made his way into the Magiclands in order to free the Monster Society. Once freed, they emerged into the Earthlands in order to battle the Shazamily. (Shazam! v3 #11)
