Origin
Kenshi Takahashi (高橋剣士)
Duing the fight with Mavado, Kenshi was badly wounded and near death when he was found by the Lin Kuei Sub-Zero. The warrior helped in Kenshi's recovery and when his wounds healed he could hear the souls of his ancestors as they returned to his sword. This led to Kenshi determining that Shang Tsung was finally slain though the swordsman knew not of who was responsible for killing him. With no reason to remain in Outworld, he formed an alliance with Sub-Zero and the pair made their way at finding a path back to Earthrealm. During this time, he noticed damage on Sub-Zero's armour and the Lin Kuei warrior informed Kenshi of a powerful fighter named Hotaru had attacked him for killing a troop of Tarkata.
