Biography
Zarkon was an evil alien, king of an empire that attempted to conquer the homeworld of the Voltron Force. He used mechanical soldiers and the Robeasts, along with other creations of his sorceress, Haggar, to battle them, but continually lost. His son, Prince Lotor, eventually took over, but was only slightly more effective.
Zarkon was nearly slain when he was merged with a Robeast by Lotor and Haggar, and sent against Voltron, but managed to just barely escape with his life. After that, he chose to wait until Lotor failed completely, at which point he would return to claim his throne.
