Biography
Faramir was a male human born to the kingdom of Gondor in the year TA 2983 to Denethor II and Finduilas where he was the younger brother of Boromir. When he was 5 years old, it was noted that his mother had died and her death caused his father to become detached from the family.
Overview
Personality and attributes
He was the youngest child of Denethor II and Finduilas with his father inheriting the position of Ruling Steward of Gondor from the death of Faramir's grandfather. Faramir had an older brother by the name of Boromir who was the favourite of their father's two children. The death of Finduilas led to Denethor becoming more withdrawn and detached from his family.
After the War of the Ring, Faramir came to marry Eowyn of Rohan with the two having a son together who was named Elboron.
Powers and abilities
By the time of the War of the Ring, he came to serve as the Captain of the Rangers of Ithilien.
