- In the 2002 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, the Horde would appear in the episode "The Power of Grayskull". During the flashback, it was shown to had been led by Hordak who waged a war during ancient times for the conquest of Eternia. His forces consisted of Grizzlor, Mantenna, Leech and Calyx with three dark priests along with an army of Horde Troopers. They would first battle King Hssss and the Snake Men who they vanquished but it led to their forces to being depleted. After hearing this news from Calyx, Hordak would see this as wise counsel but killed Calyx for informing him of the bad news. After his forces recovered, the Horde proceeded with their attack on Castle Grayskull but King Grayskull used his power to sent the enemy army into the portal to Despondos where they remained trapped.
