Biography

Aria T'Loak was a female Asari born at an unknown point whose past was largely unknown. It was known that she had travelled across the Milky Way Galaxy until she arrived at the lawless space station called Omega. During those early years, it was noted that she simply served as an exotic dancer at the Afterlife Club. This proved to be only a cover for her and she used her time there to kill the owner of the club where she took over its operations. Afterwards, she came to form alliances and began to consolidate her powerbase whereupon she made her move to take over all of Omega for herself. This involved overthrowing its 'ruler' who was a Krogan who she managed to depose. Rather than kill him, she decided to spare him though this was an act of cruelty as a reminder of her power over others and she began to derisively call him the Patriarch.

At some point, Aria took notice of a newcomer to Omega with this being a Turian named Nyreen Kandros who had left her life in the military and attempted to start a life as a freelancer. T'Loak decided to guide her by first helping her develop her biotic abilities and also further her combat training. During this time, the two entered into a relationship but it was known that they parted ways over irreconcilable differences.
