The Principality of Zeon was a interstellar nation that featured in Gundam.
Background
The Principality of Zeon was an independent space colony nation formed in Side 3 on August 15, UC 0069. Formerly the Republic of Zeon, the Principality was led by Sovereign Degwin Sodo Zabi. In UC 0079, after the development of mobile suits by the Zeons, the One Year War broke out between the Zeons and the Earth Federation.At the end, the Zeons were defeated, their independence removed. Remaining Zeon loyalists initiated Operation Stardust in 0083 with the aid of Anavel Gato, but they were stopped thanks in part to Ensign Kou Uraki.
