Biography

Eden Fesi

At some point, his powers manifested as a universal shaper and he went under the tutelage of the Mutant Gateway. Whilst there, Gateway warned Fesi that Nick Fury would attempt to recruit him for a team and that he should refuse. Later on, he was visited by Daisy Johnson who wanted him for a secret team where he refused as he remembered Gateway's advice. However, Gateway told him that it was fine to join Quake's team as she would protect him and thus he departed to join the Secret Warriors. (Secret Warriors v1 #4)

His old team mate Daisy Johnson later recruited his aid after she was ousted from her position as Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. She enlisted his help to teleport her into Funtime, Inc. which contained a machine developed by Tony Stark that could remove memories from the brain. This was because Quake planned to remove vital secrets from her mind that she gained from her time as Director and to prevent her replacement Maria Hill from gaining access to them. (Secret Avengers v2 #9)

After the Builder War, Eden came to feel his connection to the universe begin to diminish for unknown reasons. This meant that he had lost full control over his ability to teleport and could not even travel to his intended destination in short jumps. Thus, he isolated himself in a remote location in Kata Tjuta in Australia in an attempt to restore his powers. At this time, Iron Man had sought out Manifold as the Avengers needed his help to infiltrate the A.I.M. Island of Barbuda but Eden regretfully refused after explaining his unstable powers. He then resumed his meditations where he met Captain Universe in the Dreamtime where she revealed that the System was broken and that this was responsible for Manifold's diminishment of his powers. They journeyed to another universe where he came to restore his connection and resume control over his abilities. (Avengers World v1 #5)

Following the establishment of Krakoa, the Mutant nation set about reforming the S.W.O.R.D. program and funded much of its operations as well as appointed Director Abigail Brand to be in charge of it. Many Mutants were then placed as part of the space program including Eden Fesi who served as a Quintician. He joined an elite team of Mutants known as the Six who were responsible for using their abilities to allow a person to teleport anywhere in the cosmos. One of these initiatives saw him delving past reality itself and returning with a prize that Brand felt was vital to the evolution of the Sol system. (S.W.O.R.D. v2 #1)
