History

Project 7734 was a secret military initiative created by General Sam Lane of the United States of America with the purpose of protecting the world from alien invasion. The primary target of the project was Superman but came to consider other Kryptonians as a threat. (Superman: Secret Files 2009)

Overview

In appearance, the Project was created under the umbrella of safeguarding the planet from the threat of alien invasion. (Superman: Secret Files 2009) This unit's sole aim was Superman who they did not want to simply defeat but instead wanted to terminate him. (Superman: New Krypton Special v1 #1)

Among its arsenal was access to an archive to the creations of Project M including its robotics and genetics products. (Superman v1 #692)

• Project 7734 was created by Geoff Johns, James Robinson, Sterling Gates, Pete Woods, and Gary Frank where it made its first appearance in Superman: New Krypton Special v1 #1 (December, 2008).
• On an LCD screen, 7734 spelt backwards was shown to spell HELL.
