- Icicle was created by Robert Kanigher and Irwin Hasen where he made his first appearance in All-American Comics v1 #90 (October, 1947).
In other media
Television
- In Young Justice, Icicle appeared in the setting of the animated television series where he was voiced by actor James Remar.
- In The Flash, a different version of Icicle appeared in the setting of the live-action television series set in the Arrowverse where he was portrayed by actor Kyle Secor. This version was actually Dr. Thomas Snow who was the father of Caitlin Snow where he conducted experiments to cure himself and his daughter of the ALS gene. However, instead, he and Caitlin both gained Metahuman powers over ice along with a second personality within their mind.
- In Stargirl, Jordan Mahkent appeared in the setting of the live-action DC Universe television series where he was portrayed by actor Neil Jackson.
