But in the robotic Extremists, he came to find company in his comrades and was the only living being among them as they ruled over the planet. (Justice League Europe v1 #19)
Lord Havok and the Extremists managed to find a way onto the mainstream Earth where they attempted to take over the planet leading to a conflict with Justice League Europe. (Justice League Europe v1 #15)
Post-Infinite Crisis
Following the Infinite Crisis, a new version of the Multiverse came to be established leading to the creation of a different incarnation of Lord Havok who existed on Earth-8. (Countdown v1 #29) Alexi Nikolai was the son of Czar Nikolai III of Russia. Complications in his delivery led to the child being born disfigured. His father came to be disgusted by his son and attempted to kill him but was stopped by his wife, who later sent Alexei away to escape the Czar's wrath. As he grew, Alexi developed a talent for designing machines and androids and in college even created a malleable liquid-metal skin that he could control with his mind. Some time later, Alexi's father discovered that his wife had been sending Alexi money to finance his study and ended up killing her. Angered at the loss of the one person whom he loved, Alexi returned to his homeland and used his new technology to kill his father. He then gave the Russian people twenty-four hours to evacuate, before using massive devices of his own invention to eradicate Russia. (Countdown Presents: Lord Havok and the Extremists v1 #1)
Post-Flashpoint
