All Worlds
Device which resembles a common magical item, until placed within an extradimensional storage space (such as a bag of holding). If this is done, it detonates, rupturing the space and throwing its contents into the Astral Plane.
Ravenloft
In Ravenloft, since access to other planes is extremely difficult, a dimensional mine simply destroys the space's contents, as well as killing any living beings inside.
Spelljammer
A dimensional mine is a large magical device that explodes when in the vicinity of a Mariner ship.
