Biggs Darklighter

On Tatooine, Biggs Darklighter was Luke Skywalker's best friend and role model. After leaving the Imperial Space Acadamy, Biggs told Luke of his plans to join the Rebellion. The friends briefly reunited on Yavin, before piloting their X-Wing starfighters into battle during the assault on the first Death Star. Biggs was killed during the conflict.
