Erich Kriegler

Erich Kriegler was a Soviet Olympic ski champion and also an expert marksman. He was also a Soviet KGB agent and worked directly for General Gogol, to whom he was fiercely loyal. During the Soviets' attempt to recover the ATAC system, Gogol sent Kriegler to be his personal representative to Aristotle Kristatos, whom Gogol had hired to find the ATAC for them. Kriegler often butted heads with Kristatos' henchman, Apostis, over who should guard the ATAC. While awaiting General Gogol's arrival at Kristatos' mountaintop estate, Kriegler fought with James Bond, who knocked the KGB agent out of a window, whereupon he fell down the mountain to his death.
