History
Early life
Doors was noted to had started his career as an engineer in a nuclear power plant. (Episode: The Scarecrow Returns) He eventually formed his own international company called Doors International that worked to integrate Companion technology into Human equipment. (Episode: Crackdown)

Politics
At the time of a public speech as part of his campaign, Doors was met by Kincaid and Marquette who showed them a picture of an unidentified woman inviting Augur into a car. Jonathan knew her and identified her as Beverly Woo; a physicist and noted ruthless businesswoman who he once tried to hire but she was too expensive for him. She was responsible for the creation of Portal Space Inc but had moved to a new more secretive Taelon project known as Forge to which he knew nothing about. When Kincaid stated that he wanted to save Augur, Doors casually stated that Augur had no loyalty and simply followed the individual with the most money which would get him into trouble one day. (Episode: Heroes and Heartbreak)
Following the crackdown over Liberation members around the world, Doors was taken captive and detained on the Taelon mothership. When he was met by Zo'or, Jonathan at first demanded to know what happened to his fellow captives but was told by the Synod leader that the Earth's political climate had changed greatly. He later offered an alliance with Doors that would benefit the two of them. (Episode: Crackdown)
