Biography
Iron Maniac was a version of Tony Stark that lived on a different Earth located in the Multiverse. On his world, the Avengers were killed when the encountered the extremely powerful and vicious alien known as Titannus in space. During this time, a power-hungry Reed Richards turned his back on his team mates and the surviving heroes. As a result of an attack from the Human Torch, Stark was scarred for life and as Iron Man he set up a base of operations in Latveria. He did this with the express purpose of taking over his world and saving it from Richards. This was until this version of Reed Richards managed to somehow banish Iron Man onto the mainstream Earth designated as Earth-616. Upon arriving on this Earth, the alternate Iron Man fought against both Spider-Man and X-23 under the mistaken belief that this world's version of Mister Fantastic was as evil as his own planet. Upon the arrival of Captain America and Black Widow, the alternate Stark realized that he was on a different version of Earth and was defeated. He did, however, warn the other heroes of the coming of the Titannus War that killed his Earth's Avengers.
