History
The Ten Rings were a terrorist group that operated in Afghanistan with one of its leaders being a man known as Raza who had plans on the conquest of Asia through the acquisition of advanced weaponry from Stark Industries. This body was responsible for a surprise strike against Tony Stark when he was demonstrating his new Jericho missiles to the U.S. military in the region. He was captured and forced to work for the Ten Rings until he escaped in a prototype armor system.
It was later revealed that the Ten Rings were hired by Stark Industries Obadiah Stane who had planned on taking over Stark's corporation. The organization seemingly was killed when Stane met its leader in order to procure the armor system that Tony Stark had created in order to build his own version.
