Notes

  • The Inheritors were created by Jim Butcher, Christos Gage, and M.A. Sepulveda where they made their first appearance in Superior Spider-Man v1 #33 (November 2014).
  • Though they made their first appearance as part of Spider-Verse, Morlun himself was created by J. Michael Straczynski and John Romita Jr. who first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man v2 #30 (June 2001).

  • In Marvel: Avengers Alliance, the Inheritors were mentioned in the video game in the backstory for Morlun and Karn.
  • In Spider-Man Unlimited, the Inheritors appeared as boss antagonists in the story of the iOS video game.

Novels

  • In Spider-Man: The Darkest Hours, Morluns race were referred to as the Ancients who made an appearance in the novel written by Jim Butcher that published by Simon & Schuster. Their role was described as being the natural order of things. After hus death, it was shown that there were three fellow Ancients that included Mortia, Thanis and Malos who sought to get revenge on Spider-Man.
