Technology
This Ancient Technology Activation (A.T.A) was caused by a single gene that was always active and instructing the various cells in the body to produce a series of proteins and enzymes that interacted with the skin, nervous system and the brain. There was some variation on the use of the gene as some Ancient technology required the use to possess it whilst others simply needed the gene to initialise it whereupon after activation anyone could operate the controls.
