History
Following a scandal, Dr. Xander Zynn sold his company Humanitech Robotics Inc. with Alchemax acquisitions wing purchasing it as it was selling cheap. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #791)

- Alchemax was created by Peter David and Rick Leonardi where it made its first appearance in Spider-Man 2099 v1 #1 (November, 1992).
In other media
Video games
- In Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Alchemax made an appearance in the setting of the video game during its 2099 sequences. It was shown as being a corrupt corporation that ruled the late 21st century and controlled the domineering law enforcement division known as Public Eye. One of their branches was responsible for covert experiments and was referred to as the shadow division.
- In Spider-Man: Edge of Time, Alchemax made an appearance in the setting of the video game. One of its scientists named Dr. Walker Sloan sought to use time travel technology to alter the timeline to establish himself as Alchemax's founder and remove his corporate rivals. Spider-Man 2099 journeyed through the Gateway to stop him and save the original Spider-Man's life. As a result of events, time was in flux leading to one timeline where Peter Parker was the CEO of Alchemax who sought to use time causality to remake reality in his own image.
