- In Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Naboo featured in the setting of the 2017 shooter video game. During the story mode, it was shown as being one of the targets of the slain Emperor Palpatine's Operation: Cinder that involved weather control satellites being deployed in orbit to destroy the planetary surface. The Rebel Alliance participated in operations in freeing the system from the Imperial forces with Commander Iden Versio along with Inferno Squad participating in the mission. Leia Organa was responsible for leading the resistance against the Imperial attack where the Naboo triggered a powerful EMP weapon from the palace that shutdown all technology within the region thus defeating the Empire's army.
