Biography
Douglas Birely
Upon learning of the Lifestone meteor, he came to hope that it possessed some unknown properties of cosmic radiation. Using the last of his research funds, he chartered a boat and went out in search of it. Upon finding the island holding it, he came to see that he could get his revenge on the world for rejecting his research. (Godzilla v1 #5)

All his creations were dependent on the Lifestone and had to return to it in order to bathe it in its radiation to heal any injuries. (Godzilla v1 #4)
His followers were shown to dress in skeletal costumes similar to their boss. (Godzilla v1 #4) These consisted of other rejects from society who were dressed up as his demon soldiers. (Godzilla v1 #5)
