Bloodaxe is a female comic supervillain who features in Marvel Comics.

Biography

Jackie Lukus

At the time, the Enchantress came to learn of Karnilla gathering the forces of darkness against Heimdall. To aid him, she decided to summon the greatest weapon she could which was Skurge the Executioner's axe. In the hospital though, she was attacked by Skoll the wolf god who had been sent to eliminate her by the Norn Queen. The fight caused an explosion that took the two fighters elsewhere leaving the axe behind to be found by he human bystander. (Thor v1 #449)

Overview

Personality and attributes

Upon wielding the axe, they came to be known as Bloodaxe the Executioner whose armoured form resembled that of a man with a cold inhuman voice. (Thor v1 #451)

The hunger propelled the wielder with an unquenchable hunger for blood and combat. (Thor v1 #451)

As Bloodaxe, she said she had little love for law and order. However, she was propelled by a need to impart justice on those that spilled innocent blood with them being suffering at the hand of the executioner's blade. (Thor v1 #451)

Powers and abilities

The power of the axe allowed the user to summon a hurricane to throw all those around the wielder away. (Thor v1 #451)

  • Jackie Lukus was created by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz where she made her first appearance in Thor v1 #392 (June, 1988) where she debuted as Bloodaxe in Thor v1 #449 (July, 1992)
