Biography
Adrian Fahrenheit Țepeș (Japanese: アドリアン・ファーレンハイツ・ツェペシュ, Hepburn: Adorian Fārenhaitsu Tsepeshu) was born a dhampir as the son of the vampire king Dracula and his second wife who was a human woman named Lisa (リサ Risa?).

Personality and attributes
By the modern age, he came to adopt the identity of a dark-haired government agent named Genya Arikado (有角 幻也, Arikado Gen'ya).
It was said that he sought the defeat of his father so that his mother's soul might find peace.
Powers and abilities
He was born as a dhampir where he was the child of the unnatural bond between his vampire father and human mother. Thus, Adrian had special powers that made him stronger than a any human but not as strong as his father. As a result of his vampire heritage, he had keen senses that included a superior sense of smell. With it, he was able to discern a person's heritage and clan connection simply through the scent of their blood.
His speed was unnaturally fast where he was shown to be quicker than a bullet in both his human and wolf form.
Part of his natural abilities allowed him to change his shape where he could adopt the form of animals such as wolf, bat or even become mist.
Alucard had received training in dark magic from his father who personally taught him certain spells. This led to him becoming familiar in many types of magic with his power being at at least ½ of Dracula's.
It was shown that his weapon of choice was his single-handed sword that was a family heirloom from his mothers side.

- Alucard was originally designed by T. Fujimoto and I. Urata where he featured in the setting of the Castlevania universe.
Alternate Versions
- In Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, an alternate version of Alucard appeared in the setting of the reboot continuity. This version was actually Trevor Belmont who was the son of Gabriel Belmont and his wife Marie Belmont where he was born prior to his father becoming the dark lord Dracula.

Television
- In Castlevania, Alucard appeared in the setting of the animated television series where he was voiced by actor James Callis. He had said that whilst his father did not like the use of magical weapons that Alucard himself was not averse to their use.
