Biography
Origin
Everett Thomas
During the Phalanx Covenant, the hive-minded techno-organic race looked to assimilate the inhabitants of Earth. In this time, Thomas was at his home when the police arrived over an incident that saw windows across the neighbourhood shattering in the area. Whilst speaking to the police, he saw several of them shapeshift into Phalanx that were looking to assimilate Everett but he was saved by the timely arrival of the X-Men. (X-Men v2 #36)

After the establishment of Krakoa, the living island came to be a nation that was to be the homeland for all Mutants with Synch being among those to reside in the country. (House of X v1 #6)

Personality and attributes
He was always noted as being a good kid who was a straight 'A' student. (X-Men v2 #36)
From a young age, he came to notice that he was different and it was only later that his suspicions were confirmed that he was a Mutant with him enjoying the use of his powers. (X-Men v2 #36)
Powers and abilities
As a Mutant, he was born with superhuman abilities where his power was to 'synch' with someone else in the area with superpowers. As a result, he was able to replicate their powers for his use. (X-Men v2 #36)
