Biography
White Canary was the name of a girl who was born as one of the female children of the martial artist Huang. He had long sought powerful martial artists and had a habit of killing his daughters. After one was born, he commanded the girl to be killed but then lighting struck which hit and killed the midwife at that moment with this being seen as an omen. As such, she was allowed to live by Master Huang who had her trained just like his sons though she was kept separate from her siblings among the Twelve Brothers of Silk. (Birds of Prey v2 #4)
She then ambushed Black Canary and Huntress Helena Bertinelli where she easily overpowered and wounded them. The White Canary then critically injured the Penguin who was at the scene where she left him bleeding to death. (Birds of Prey v2 #1)

Personality and attributes
In appearance, White Canary was a beautiful woman noted for her Asian features with long black hair. She styled her costume similar to Black Canary where she wore all white with a jacket and a mask that covered her mouth. (Birds of Prey v2 #1)
Powers and abilities
During an initial fight, it was remarked that her skill was better than that of Lady Shiva. (Birds of Prey v2 #1)
She was shown to use a chain whip in close quarter fighting where the ends were sharp that she could use to stab her targets. (Birds of Prey v2 #1)
