Original

The Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC) was a company founded on Earth in 2015 by Thomas Kelliher though its roots dated back much further.

Reboot

In 2095, the UAC conducted a geological survey mission on Mars where they discovered the Argent Fracture and the resultant energy emitted from it. Within a year, the company established an outpost to extract Argent plasma from the Fracture and producing Argent Energy which became the primary power source for humanity thus enriching the UAC.

In appearance, UAC was a multi-planetary conglomerate that was based on Earth.

In emergency situations, the UAC were known to employ a Level 5 Breach as well as quarantine procedures if an unknown outbreak threatened a facility. When there are personnel that are missing then, typically, a Code Black was initiated.

The multi-planetary conglomerate maintained radioactive waste facilities on Mars and its two moons, Phobos and Deimos.

  • In Doom, the Union Aerospace Corporation appeared in the setting of the 2005 live-action film. The UAC held a base on Mars known as the Olduvai Research Facility with Ark travel linking their Earth based facilities with those on the red planet.
