Callie Spengler

Callie Spengler is the daughter of the late Egon Spengler, one of the original Ghostbusters. Growing up, she never really knew her father. In fact, she had always resented him for "abandoning her" as a child.

She had two children, Trevor and Phoebe Spengler. They were both brilliant children who had a lot going on mentally.

Callie and her kids were evicted from their home after not having payed their bills, and the only place they were able to stay for the time being was Egon's old farmhouse in a little town called Summerville. They tried to adjust to their new lifestyle, with some minor complications here and there. One day however, things came to a head when a large earthquake hit the town. Phoebes summer school teacher, Gary Grooberson, whom Callie had met the same day, was very confused by this, as the town had no fault lines and therefore wasn't susceptible to any sort of earthquake. Callie eventually gave in to her emotions and went on a dinner date with Gary, as she was interested in him.

The date seemed to be going well, until suddenly, a blue ghost dove through the restaurant they were eating at. This led to Callie breaking her kids, as well as their friends Podcast and Lucky, out of jail after they had driven the old Ghostbusters' car, the Ecto-1, without a license.

Callie eventually found herself in the basement of her father's farmhouse, where she discovered the truth about her father. He had never meant to abandon her. He was trying to save the world. A couple months prior, Egon was killed by the spirits of Zuul and Vinz Clortho, the pets/minions of the evil demigod Gozer the Gozerian, after preventing them from being able to conduct a ritual to bring Gozer into this world. Before Callie could dwell on it too much, however, the Terror Dog, Zuul, leapt out of the shadows and possessed her body. The ghost of Egon could do nothing but watch in horror as his daughter was violated by a demonic beast. In the process, Gary was also possessed by Vinz Clortho after a chaotic chase through a Walmart parking lot. Gary, now possessed by the Terror Dog, made his way to the Shandor Mining Company, a sort of Temple of Gozer that was disguised by Ivo Shandor as an ordinary mine. Gary was able to destroy most of it, leaving the main temple exposed. It was the exact same as the one from 1984: a staircase leading up to a crystalline door with two pedestals for the Terror Dogs. Gary smiled as he was staring at his destiny. Meanwhile, Callie, now possessed by Zuul, sat in the living room of the farmhouse, awaiting her Keymaster. Her former children arrived and tried to talk to her. Callie barked and roared at them in defiance before the house was hit with a blinding light. Callie smiled as she saw that Gary had opened the temple. She then snarled at the others before diving out of the window and galloping towards the temple on all fours, like she would as a Terror Dog. Gary sat in a field atop a large boulder, awaiting his gatekeeper patiently. Callie finally approached and Gary sensed her presence. He got up and began to run towards her. Callie then ripped her clothes off, revealing a bright gold dress underneath. Gary stared at her, stunned. He complemented her eyes. Callie

smiled before responding in demonic gibberish. Gary thanked her and, before he could forget, he handed her a flower he had found in the field. Callie sniffed it and purred with demonic glee before eating it. The two then got down on the grass and proceeded to have demonic sex. Afterwards, the couple made their way to the temple and proceeded to walk up the staircase towards two opposite pedestals. Callie's former children watched them from afar as she and Gary mounted their pedestals and raised their arms up to the sky. Callie smiled as she was struck by supernatural lightning, along with Gary. The two eventually got down on all fours under the weight of the lightning striking them. Callie and Gary then transformed into Terror Dogs.

Once the transformation was complete, Callie and Gary snarled and roared ferociously as the lightning ran off of their beastly forms. Callie stood up and stared at her former children with nothing but demonic rage. She wagged her tail as she roared at them. Callie and Gary then ran up to the top of the temple and awaited their master's arrival. Once Gozer finally arrived, she was greeted. by Ivo Shandor himself. He stated how he has waited for this moment for years and that he had built this temple for her in case she had ever returned to Earth. Gozer touched his face sympathetically before she grabbed his hair and ripped him in half. Gozer then bent down next to Callie and scratched her long chin with her lightning-tipped fingers. Callie purred as her master pleasured her. The dogs then leapt down back to the pedestals where they first transformed. Gozer then leapt down to her throne and sat on it. Gary growled. The demonic trio then sat there, almost docile, awaiting the right time to begin ruling the world. Callie looked around in triumph, ready to serve her master forever.

However, as Callie, Gary and Gozer's victory was at hand, Callie's former daughter, Phoebe, came out of the shadows, greeting Gozer. Callie snarled at her as she approached her master. Phoebe stared at Callie in fear, knowing full well that she was no longer her mother, but a demonic dog, hell-bent on serving her master. Phoebe put that issue to the side and began to crack jokes at Gozer in order to distract her. Gozer seemed all but pleased with the display. Meanwhile, Phoebe's friend, Podcast controlled an RC ghost trap and carefully maneuvered it towards Callie. The trap slowly moved under her body until it accidentally bumped into her paw. Callie growled as she turned her head towards Podcast, barely seeing him. Callie didn't think too much of it and focused her attention on Phoebe. She and Gary stared at her from atop their pedestals, snarling and purring menacingly as Phoebe wastes Gozer's time. Gozer then asked her if she was prepared to die. As Phoebe came up with a reply, Podcast successfully positioned the ghost trap directly underneath Callie's dog-like body. It opened up and began to trap the spirit of Zuul within it, weakening Gozer in the process. Callie emerged, back to human form, and tumbled down the temple staircase. Gary roared out of anger as he watched his mate leave his side, back to human form nonetheless. Gozer writhed in agony as Zuul was taken away from her. Gary turned his attention to his master and stared at her in horror. The beast put two and two together and realized that Zuul was trapped, which caused him to chase after her throughout the streets of Summerville. Callie was informed of what had happened by her kids, mainly the fact that she had turned into a dog. After reaching the farmhouse and defeating Gozer once and for all, Gary became human again. Callie rushed towards him and asked if he was alright. He asked her why he was bleeding. She informed him that, while he was a dog and

was chasing after them, he hit his head on a park bench which, interestingly, made him bleed in his human form. Gary remembered all of this, surprisingly. He then clarified with Callie that they he thinks that they had sex before turning into dogs and summoning Gozer. She was fully aware of this fact and stared at him intently. Afterwards, Callie finally met her father once again, but as a ghost. She was finally able to get the closure she desperately needed before he ascended to the afterlife.
