The statue of Zuul begins to break open, revealing the Terror Dog trapped inside.

Terror Dogs were the monstrous servants of Gozer. They were lion-sized, hairless quadrupeds with glowing red eyes, short tails, and curved horns protruding from the sides of their heads. Although physical beings and not spirits, the Terror Dogs were nonetheless capable of the possession of humans, and although they looked and behaved like nothing more than wild dogs, they were actually sentient, intelligent creatures who had the ability to speak English (as humans) and perform human-like acts, such as walking on two legs and copulation. Notable Terror Dogs are Zuul and Vinz Clortho, who possessed Dana Barrett and Louis Tully respectively, giving their human hosts supernatural abilities such as levitation, electroconductivity, demonic growling, and transformation. The two went on long journeys before finally meeting. Zuul encountered Peter Venkman when he arrived for a date with Dana Barrett, whom the Gatekeeper had possessed. She tried desperately to have sex with him, under the impression he was a friend of the Keymaster, but ended up angry and frustrated at his constant refusal which led Zuul to growl

monstrously and levitate above her bed until Peter sedated her. Vinz Clortho clumsily wandered around Central Park in search of Zuul. He confused a carriage horse with the Gatekeeper and became angry at the coachman for interrupting him. Vinz's eyes flared red as he growled at the man. Vinz ran away screaming about Gozer before eventually being arrested by the police and placed in the custody of the Ghostbusters, who ran some tests on him and inquired about Gozer. After the Ghostbuster's containment unit exploded, Zuul awoke from her sedation and Vinz escaped custody. Zuul watched in awe and excitement as ghosts overran the city, causing chaos everywhere while Vinz walked along the streets getting a close up view of the mayhem. Zuul watched in a trance as streams of supernatural energy flowed toward her living room windows before suddenly turning up toward the roof of her building. She reacted by growling out with such force that her living room walls exploded, leaving a sign

for Vinz to find her. The two demons finally met at the Shandor Building, introducing each other before Vinz walked into the living room, staring in awe as Zuul rose from her sofa. The couple wasted little time acting on their primal urges, kissing passionately before walking up toward the roof of the building where they had sex through their hosts human bodies in front of the Temple of Gozer as part of their demonic ritual to summon the Destructor. Exhausted after their lustful union, both Terror Dogs rested atop the ceremonial altar before Zuul awoke and sat up, looking around the rooftop shrine. Vinz later woke up, grinning in ecstasy from mating with his Gatekeeper. The demons shared a brief glance before sliding off the stone table, both entranced by the lightning striking the top of the Temple gateway. Both demons departed the ceremonial altar and walked toward the opposite pedestals, which they had initially inhabited as statues. Zuul and Vinz stood in wait while the top of the massive structure in front of them was continually struck by lightning from the hellish storm above. Once the structure amassed enough supernatural energy, Zuul and Vinz began raising their arms to the sky, smiling in excitement with their task almost complete. Lightning shot out from the top of the Temple, striking both Terror Dogs who redirected the energy toward the massive temple doors, forcing them to slowly open.

Zuul and Vinz smiled as they saw the Temple of Gozer opening before their eyes while they began to absorb the supernatural energy, causing their their bones to glow as they thrashed and gyrated violently under the force of the beams of lightning. Zuul and Vinz succumbed to the supernatural energy continually striking their human bodies, writhing and thrashing as they lowered their hands to the floors of their pedestals where they instantly became bathed in lightning, transforming into their vicious, demonic, Terror Dog forms. Zuul snarled and grunted monstrously as lightning ran off her new, beastly body. She stared at her large paw, grinning ferociously at her body. Vinz snarled as he took notice to the Ghostbusters after transforming, who had been watching them the whole time. Vinz barked in their direction, alerting Zuul to their presence. The Terror Dogs briefly stared at the Ghostbusters as the lightning disappeared before roaring menacingly at them. The dogs then grunted and snarled as they leaped up toward the newly opened Temple of Gozer where they took their places beside a translucent doorway. Gozer emerged from the crystalline doorway and began to walk towards Vinz. The dog bended his head down as Gozer began to pet him. He purred in unison with her. Gozer began to make her way towards Zuul, but was interrupted by the Ghostbusters. She asked them to announce themselves as gods but, once they revealed that they weren't, Gozer attacked them with her supernatural lightning powers and commanded them to die. Zuul turned to her master and roared in approval, slobbering, while Vinz sat patiently atop his pedestal, snarling excitedly at the Ghostbusters from afar. The lightning stopped, and the Ghostbusters began to march towards Gozer. She and her dogs stared at them intently as they prepared their particle throwers. They fired, prompting Gozer to leap away from the blast, her dogs keeping a watchful eye on her. Gozer flipped through the air and landed atop the stone ceremonial alter where Zuul and Vinz had mated in their human forms. The team blasted again, causing Gozer to disappear. The dogs seemed unfazed by their master's disappearance. Gozer then returned as a giant Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and began to destroy the city. The Ghostbusters realized that they needed to cross the streams in order to destroy it. They ran back to the temple and readied their attack. Zuul leapt towards her pedestal as Vinz kept an eye on her. He turned towards the team and roared, prompting Zuul to look to them as well. As they crossed the streams within the temple, the dogs stared on helplessly. Vinz roared at the blast, inching towards it and swiping at it with his paw. Zuul roared at the Ghostbusters before staring back at the blast, helpless to stop it. The temple was destroyed. Gozer was defeated, and the dogs turned back to statues, holding Dana and Louis trapped inside, who were then freed by the Ghostbusters.

Even though they were presumed to be destroyed for good, the Terror Dogs reemerged nearly 40 years later in 2021 in order to bring back their master once again. Zuul went on to posses the daughter of the late Egon Spengler, Callie Spengler, while Vinz Clortho possessed her children's summer school teacher, Gary Grooberson. Just like the first time, both Terror Dogs met and had sex near a prebuilt Temple of Gozer in order to jumpstart the ritual to summon their master. They both regrouped in an underground temple disguised as a mining company and stood on two pedestals opposite a staircase and a throne, leading up to a giant pit filled with Gozer's army of ghosts. The demons raised their arms to the ceiling and were both struck by supernatural streams of lightning out of nowhere, causing them to thrash about violently. The force of the lightning weighed the couple down, causing them to drop down on all fours. As Callie's hands touched her pedestal, her body turned into that of a Terror Dog, with Gary following soon after. Callie turned her head and roared while Gary stared at her body in awe, growling and wagging his tail. Callie and Gary shook off the rest of the demonic lightning. Gary stood atop his pedestal and patiently waited for the arrival of Gozer, while Callie turned towards the new Ghostbusters, her former children and their friends, and roared ferociously at them.

Just then, Gozer emerged from the pit of ghosts and was greeted by Ivo Shandor, the creator of both the Shandor Building temple from back in 1984 and this one. He spoke to Gozer and told her that he had built this temple for her in case she had ever returned to earth. He wanted to rule the world by her side. Gozer seemed to sympathize with him, even caressing his cheek for a moment. However, Gozer prefers to work alone. She proceeded to grab Ivo by his hair and rip him in half. While this occurred, Callie and Gary leapt up the staircase and stood atop two other pedestals next to the pit where Gozer emerged. Gozer crouched down next to Callie and playfully scratched her neck with her lightning-tipped fingers. Callie purred, rolled her eyes, and nodded her large, horned head as her master pleasured her. As the ghosts escaped into the streets, the Terror Dogs leapt back down towards the pedestals opposite the throne, and stood there guarding the entrance of the temple while Gozer sat on her throne. Gary growled. The demonic trio stood triumphant. Gozer crossed her legs and relaxed atop her throne while her Terror Dogs stood guard, sharing a brief glance. Just then, Callie's former daughter, Phoebe, walked up to Gozer and began to crack jokes at the entity while her friend Podcast sent out a ghost trap. Callie stared and growled at Phoebe as she spoke to her master. The trap slowly creeped directly underneath Callie's dog-like body, which the dog didn't seem to notice, until the trap accidentally bumped into her leg. Callie grunted and nearly saw Podcast. Just as Gozer asked Phoebe if she was ready to die, the trap activated, sucking Zuul's demonic spirit into it, weakening Gozer's form in the process. Callie was turned back into a human and was helped up and taken away by her kids. Gary stood atop his pedestal and stared towards Gozer in horror and anger at what the others had done to her. The dog began to chase them through the streets, roaring as he gained up on them. They managed to get back to their farmhouse, which was rigged as one giant ghost trap, and waited for the right moment. Gary and Gozer, who was now half skeleton, eventually arrived. The kids began to blast their proton packs towards Gozer in an attempt to weaken her. However, all they did was make her more angry. Gozer then stole the ghost trap containing Zuul and released her

Since Zuul is female, she would have to possess a female body in order to allow Gozer to be whole again. The only other female in the vicinity besides Callie was Lucky Domingo, one of the new kid Ghostbusters. Zuul forcefully entered Lucky's body, causing her to be struck by lightning and get down on all fours, wincing in pain. As her hands touched the ground, Lucky turned into a Terror Dog as her body could be heard contorting and reshaping. Lucky turned towards Callie and roared at her twice, slobbering, before reuniting with Gary and her master. Gozer, now back to full strength, motioned towards Gary. The dog turned and bended his head down while Gozer pet him, purring. Lucky stood guard and growled. Gozer then turned towards Lucky and began to pet her. Lucky closed her eyes and purred demonically. Gary stood guard. Gozer and Lucky then turned towards the group and stared at them intently. Gozer began to charge her supernatural lightning. Lucky and Gary grinned and roared. Before Gozer could do anything to them however, the original Ghostbusters arrived to end their battle with Gozer once and for all. Ray began explaining to Gozer that she must leave or else there will be consequences. The others complimented him on his efforts. Gozer snarled, prompting Lucky to bark at them angrily in unison with lightning flashing in the sky while Gary looked on. Gozer coyly asked the age-old question to Ray, "Are you a god?" Ray hesitated and replied yes. Peter explained that they were all a big deal and said, "On a personal note: I thought that we had busted up for good. It wasn't working for me. My friends didn't think so. I know yours don't." Gary barked as he attempted to lunge at the group. Gozer halted him, causing him to whimper and step back. Lucky growled at Gary for disobeying Gozer. The Ghostbusters then charged up their proton packs and fired at Gozer. Lucky and Gary reacted out of pain, wincing and thrashing about as their master was attacked. The Ghostbusters continued their attack and crossed the streams. Gary roared loudly in pain as Callie shouted triumphantly. Suddenly, Gozer managed to take hold of the streams overwhelming her. She began to gain her strength back, as did her Terror Dogs. Gozer grabbed the streams like a whip and brought them above her head. Lucky looked towards her and roared triumphantly. Gozer threw the streams back at the Ghostbusters as the dogs roared. The original Ghostbusters regrouped. Peter scolded Gozer, prompting her and her dogs to march forward towards them. Gary and Gozer roared, prompting Lucky to follow suit. They managed to trap her, turning her Terror Dogs to stone in the process, freeing Lucky and Gary from possession and turning them back into humans.

He turns to Dana, smiling at her new form before he notices the Ghostbusters, who had witnessed their transformation from a distance.
As the last of the lightning escapes her demonic, dog-like body, the newly transformed Dana wags her tail as she barks and roars ferociously at the Ghostbusters.
Louis, now as a demonic Terror Dog, roars at the Ghostbusters in unison with Dana.

Callie Spengler discovers her father's secret basement and comes to realize that he hadn't forgotten about her, much to her dismay. She stares at multiple photos of herself that Egon had saved over the years.

As Callie is observing her father's work, the spirit of the Terror Dog, Zuul, manifests within the basement, looking to possess her.

One of the two Terror Dogs, Vinz Clortho, is shown in a Walmart, almost 40 years after first being sighted in Manhattan, staring at Gary Grooberson, his soon to be host, with intent, growling.
Vinz drools as he roars ferociously at Gary.

Callie and Gary walk up the temple staircase hand in hand as they approach their pedestals and their master's throne.
Callie and Gary let go of each other as they walk towards their respective pedestals. Callie stares at her pedestal knowing that, soon, she will finally reunite with Gozer.
Callie Spengler, possessed by Zuul, walks up to her pedestal and smiles as she knows that her transformation into a Terror Dog is near. Her mate, Gary Grooberson, possessed by Vinz Clortho, stands atop his pedestal.
Callie stands atop her pedestal alongside Gary. They wait patiently for the right time to begin the transformation ritual.

As Callie's hands touch her pedestal, she begins to turn into a Terror Dog. Her horns and tail are visible, along with part of her dog-like skeleton. Gary sits atop his pedestal, still in human form, slightly behind Callie in his transformation.
Callie's body grows further into that of a Terror Dog. Now, her entire head has grown to full size, and her human skin has completely shed. However, Gary sits atop his pedestal on all fours, still human.
Callie's body grows to full size as Gary finally turns atop his pedestal. Callie opens her red eyes and stares at her backside to confirm that she is now a Terror Dog.
Callie raises her large paw off of her pedestal and wags her tail as she lets out a ferocious roar. Gary sits up and smiles as he basks in his transformation. He and Callie look almost identical now, apart from their horn sizes.
As Callie roars, her Terror Dog bone structure is visible for a split second. Her human form has been fully erased.
Callie opens her red eyes once again as she stares at her body in awe. Gary stares at Callie and growls triumphantly with a ferocious grin on his face.
Callie and Gary wag their tails and snarl as they shake the rest of the lightning off of their large bodies.
Callie fully stands up as she catches a glimpse of the Ghostbusters, especially her former daughter, Phoebe. Callie doesn't recognize her anymore, as her human side has been completely erased and replaced with only primal instinct.
The rest of the lightning is gone. Callie and Gary are now flesh and blood Terror Dogs. Callie looks towards the Ghostbusters and hangs her mouth open, drooling as she stares at them, preparing to roar. Gary doesn't notice them however. The Terror Dog stands atop his pedestal, docile, waiting patiently for Gozer's arrival.
As lightning strikes the temple, Callie slobbers and wags her tail, roaring as the Ghostbusters from afar. She and Gary don't attack them however, as their only goal now is to await the arrival of Gozer.
Callie roars ferociously at the Ghostbusters as Gary growls menacingly, patiently guarding the temple and awaiting Gozer. The force of Callie's roar makes the ground shake and her tail blow in the wind.

After turning into a Terror Dog, Callie runs to the top of the temple to greet her newly summoned master. She sits atop another pedestal, patiently awaiting her arrival. Gozer kneels down beside her pet and caresses her snout with her demonic hands. Callie closes her eyes and succumbs to her playful side. The dog snarls with demonic ecstasy as she is finally reunited with her master after nearly 40 years.
Gozer begins to scratch Callie's chin with her lightning-tipped fingers while petting her with her other hand. Callie rolls her eyes and bares her fangs as her master makes her purr demonically.
Gozer smiles as she playfully scratches Callie's chin with both hands. The dog purrs and grins passionately as her master pleasures her.
Callie snarls as she leaps down to her pedestal from where she had just reunited with her master.
Callie roars as she leaps down towards her pedestal while her mate stands atop his, growling.
Callie wags her tail and grins ferociously as she lands atop the edge of her pedestal.
Callie lands as she prepares to leap again, closer to her pedestal. The force of her large body landing shakes the entire temple, but doesn't seem to affect Gozer, who continues to walk down to her throne, watching her loyal pets from above.
Callie fully lands atop her pedestal alongside Gary. Both Terror Dogs snarl as Gozer watches them from above.
Gary, in dog form, sits on his pedestal in a docile state, awaiting Gozer.
Gary growls viciously as Gozer lands atop her throne on all fours.
Gary and Gozer stare out of the temple as they prepare to rule the world with Callie.
Callie and Gary stand atop their respective pedestals and bare their fangs as they guard their master's throne. Gozer lays atop her throne in a relaxed state, ready to rule the world with her pets by her side.
Callie stands atop her pedestal and guards Gozer as she lays on her throne.
Callie notices someone approaching Gozer's throne and leers at her.
Callie growls ferociously as the person continues to approach Gozer.
As Phoebe Spengler confronts Gozer, Callie and Gary stare at her with great intent.
Callie and Gary snarl at Phoebe as she confronts their master.
After Callie transforms back into a human, she loses her balance and begins to tumble down the staircase, as she is not used to standing on two legs. Gary, still in dog form, roars at her as she falls.
After Callie is freed from her possession and reverted back to human form, Gozer's form is weakened. Gary, still a dog, stands atop his pedestal and stares angrily at the ghost trap containing the spirit of Zuul.
As the ghost trap rolls away, Gozer writhes in pain. Gary stares in horror at what is happening to his master.

GB: Afterlife (Zuul's Second Transformation)

After Gozer and Gary fight the Ghostbusters at the farmhouse, Phoebe tries to retrieve Lucky's proton pack, whom Gozer had just incapacitated. Gary steps on the proton pack and blocks Phoebe from it, staring at her menacingly.
Gary leers angrily and slobbers as he roars at a frightened Phoebe.
Gary stares at the Ghostbusters, particularly Lucky, and stands guard at Gozer's side as she begins to break open the trap containing Zuul.
Gary roars happily as he sees Zuul's spirit being released into the air by Gozer.
The spirit of Zuul surrounds Lucky, causing her to get down on her knees and raise her arms up in the air.
Zuul enters Lucky's helpless body as supernatural lightning begins to surround her. Lucky winces in pain as she is forced down on all fours. The unpossessed Callie watches next to her, terrified.
Lucky sits on all fours, fully submissive to Zuul's possession of her as the lightning continues to surround her human form.
Lucky's hand shakes violently as the transformation begins.
Lucky's human hand grows into that of a Terror Dog as the sound of flesh squelching can be heard. Lucky's transformation is complete.
As the lightning disappears, Lucky stares at her dog-like body and wags her tail, drooling. Her humanity is completely gone and her only purpose is to serve Gozer.
Lucky whips her head around and sees Callie. She seethes with anger and begins to roar at her.
Lucky slobbers demonically as she roars loudly at a terrified Callie.

GB: Afterlife (Gozer and the Terror Dogs)

Lucky, after turning into a Terror Dog and reuniting with her master, stares menacingly at the Ghostbusters along with her mate. Gozer turns towards Gary and extends her arm out to pet him.
Gozer passionately pets Gary as he closes his eyes and purrs. Lucky keeps a watchful eye on the Ghostbusters as she awaits her turn.
Gozer and Gary turn towards Lucky as she continues to leer at the Ghostbusters.
Gozer passionately pets Lucky. Both demons purr in unison as they longingly stare at each other, ecstatic to be reunited once again.
Gozer and her Terror Dogs stare towards the Ghostbusters after their passionate reunion.
Gary stares at the Ghostbusters as his master charges up her attack.
Lucky and Gary hang their jaws open in excitement, drooling, staring at the Ghostbusters as Gozer is about to attack.
Lucky barks passionately at the Ghostbusters as she's prepared to bear witness to Gozer's attack on them. Gary continues to stare at them with his jaw open, ecstatic to see them tremble in fear.
Lucky and Gozer stare at the Ghostbusters with great intent.
Gozer snarls at the Ghostbusters as Lucky continues to stare.
Lucky barks at the Ghostbusters angrily as Gozer stares at them.
Gozer and her Terror Dogs continue to stare intently at the Ghostbusters.

Lucky and Gary stand guard by their master's side and snarl as the Ghostbusters prepare to attack.
