Ann Gora
The star reporter for Kat's Eye News, Ann Gora is endlessly curious and always on the hunt for a big, exciting story. She hates covering mundane events like the grand opening (and later re-opening) of the Megakat Tower and the Manx Invitational Golf Tournament, despite the fact that things rarely stay mundane for very long. Although a good reporter, Ann is unfortunately also quite reckless and doesn't weigh the potential consequences before she leaps into the middle of a situation, a fact that usually tends to get her into trouble.
Examples of this include her pushing Al the pilot to fly the Kat's Eye News helicopter closer to the Doomsday Express which resulted in them being shot down by the airship's heat beam, and when she disguised herself as a miner in order to accompany Lt. Felina Feral and the Enforcers into the mines of the Megakat Metallurgical Co. which resulted in her being captured by a giant, mutant scorpion. Both times, she and her colleagues were saved from certain death by the Swat Kats.
However, Ann has come through at times and proven herself to be an extremely capable and valuable provider of information, such as when she alerted Commander Feral to the fact that Deputy Mayor Briggs was trapped within the Megakat Tower during its takeover by Dr. Viper and the plantimals (which likely saved the Deputy Mayor's life as it prevented the Enforcers from simply destroying the building), and when she and her cameraman Jonny stumbled upon the invasion plans of the Ci-Kat-A at the M.A.S.A. Space Center and were able to alert the Swat Kats.
