Biography
Ikari (Japanese: 怒り, Hepburn: Ikari, Translation: Rage) was the name of a youth that came to be subjected to experiments made by the supervillain Bullseye. At the time, Bullseye had become paralysed following his latest encounter with the vigilante Daredevil. Looking for revenge, he gathered a team of scientists to help recreate the toxic waste incident that provided Matt Murdock his powers. Initially, experiments were conducted on vagrants until the process was perfected after which the warrior that became known as Ikari was chosen to take part. Bullseye had hired the deadly warrior to help Lady Bullseye kill Daredevil where the newly created Ikari wore a Japanese version of Daredevil's original costume and claimed to have a radar sense just like him. (Daredevil v3 #25)
He was then dispatched to confront Daredevil where the pair battled one another and were seemingly evenly matched. Daredevil attempted to outplay his opponent when he came to believe that his foe was blind and attempted to ambush him by relying on the gaps in the enhanced vision. He was surprised when Ikari showed that he still retained his sight and the villain brutally beat Murdock but left him alive. (Daredevil v3 #25) Ikari then returned back to his masters where he reported to Bullseye and Lady Bullseye of his victory over Daredevil. (Daredevil v3 #26)
Afterwards, he was hired by the Kingpin to kidnap Daredevil's closest friends namely Kirsten McDuffie and Foggy Nelson as a leverage. (Daredevil v4 #16) When Murdock discovered what Kingpin had done, Fisk ordered Ikari to fight Murdock to the death. If Murdock won, one of his friends would die. Daredevil and Ikari engaged in combat for hours, until the Shroud appeared on the scene, because Kingpin had kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, Julia Carpenter, and stabbed Ikari with a Darkforce construct before throwing him off the rooftop. (Daredevil v4 #17) It was later shown that his body had vanished from the ambulance that was carrying his remains. (Daredevil v4 #18) The seemingly severed head of Ikari was later found at Kraven the Hunters island base where it was on display as a trophy. (Captain America v1 #697)

Personality and attributes
In appearance, Ikari was a masked figure who wore a Japanese version of Daredevil's original costume.
Powers and abilities
He had been trained to be every bit as equal to Daredevil. (Daredevil v3 #25)
As a result of experiments, he was exposed to toxic chemicals that had blinded Daredevil and had given him enhanced senses. This meant that he also had the unique radar sense as the masked vigilante though he was not blind as he retained his normal sight. (Daredevil v3 #25) These enhanced senses made him vulnerable to powerful sonic attacks as he had not been trained to shield his mind from them. (Daredevil v1 #611)
Ikari was armed with Kusurigama Blades that were sharp enough to cut into the bone. (Daredevil v3 #25)
