Biography

Zom

The Faltine Dormammu was noted to had bound Zom's hands with chains of living bondage in an effort to stop the demon. He was eventually defeated by the power of Eternity who imprisoned the demon within a legendary amphora for ages in order to protect the universe from his might. In time, the demon became regarded as a myth and fantasy that was told by the fire when the lights were dim. (Strange Tales v1 #156)

After Strange's defeat, Zom was freed upon the Earth where he sought a new host that had as much power as possible but with the least amount of intelligence that could the demon's control. This saw him taking control of a Hulkbuster Iron Man Armor that was transformed to match Zom's form. He then looked to destroy the city where he fought a band of heroes but Zom looked to break further underground in order to access a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. bunker in order to use it to send the city into the Negative Zone. Upon realising this, Amadeus Cho was quick to change the pass code and in an effort to circumvent this the demon Zom looked to possess the human. However, this moment of transference left him vulnerable allowing for Wong to imprison the demon back in the Amphora thus ending the threat posed by him. (Incredible Hulk v2 #111)
