Events
- Babylon 5: 1 million years ago. The Vorlons, believing themselves to be gods, create a gate into what they believe is a higher reality, their rightful domain- Thirdspace. Instead, they find a hostile race of extradimensional beings bent on destroying all other life. A war ensued, with some Vorlons turning to the invaders' side thanks to psychic transmissions, but in the end, the portal was sealed. The last of the invaders' followers, however, manage to hide the portal within hyperspace. The Vorlons introduce a racial memory warning their descendants against the threat of the gate. (Thirdspace)
- Babylon 5: 1 million years ago. The earliest First Ones begin to pass beyond the Rim, leaving the Vorlons and Shadows behind to guide the younger races. However, a series of wars follow over the next million years between the two races, each trying to make their ideologies- the Vorlons' order vs. the Shadows' chaos- supreme. During these wars, the Shadows are repeatedly driven from Z'ha'dum, but always return, supposedly out of respect for Lorien. - Dungeons and Dragons (Planescape): 1 million years ago. Turaglas, the Ebon Maw, one of the earliest demon princes, first emerges from the primordial Abyss. (Dragon Magazine #312)
- DC (Post-Crisis), DC (Post-Zero Hour): 800,000 years ago. The First Age on Krypton. Clans of nomads eventually develop a common language and alphabet, as well as sharing metallurgical knowledge.
