A line of interconnected Marvel Comics-based animated series airing throughout the 1990s. This does not include any series before X-Men (such as Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends) or any after The Incredible Hulk (such as Silver Surfer, Spider-Man Unlimited, Avengers or X-Men Evolution). Most of these series had comic books based on them, which eventually developed into their own continuity.
