Alternate Versions
- In Avengers: Ultron Forever v1 #1 (2015), an alternate version of Danielle Cage appeared in the 20XX reality that was designated as Earth-15061 in the Multiverse. In the year 20XX, Danielle Cage had become Captain America, having inherited the powers of both of her parents, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. She was also a member of the A.V.E.N.G.E.R.S. Initiative. One day during one of Manhattan's periodical floodings, the Golden Skull and his henchmen took advantage of the situation and stole several tanks of helium. Captain America confronted them, and easily took down the Skull's two henchmen. However, before she could knockout the villain, she was mysteriously surrounded and swallowed by a rectangle of energy. She was transported to a future universe, four hundred years into the future, along with other heroes from other periods of time, a Jim Rhodes early into his career as Iron Man, a Thor Odinson cursed with immortality, the Thor who had temporarily supplanted the original, a Hulk a few months into having become a monster, and a Black Widow and Vision from a period of time during which Danielle was a baby. They had been summoned by Doctor Doom, who enlisted them to fight the threat of the All-Father Ultron, who had enslaved what remained of humanity. Captain America, Black Widow and Hulk infiltrated the maintenance hub of Ultron's network, in order to take it down, but they ended up being detected. They were distracted fighting Ultron's forces for so long the network hub ended up transferring to a backup. At the same time, two other teams fulfilled their objectives, one destroyed Ultron and another the factory of his sentries.
- In Old Man Logan v1 #1 (2015), an alternate version of Dani Cage appeared in the Wastelands reality that was designated as Earth-21923 in the Multiverse. On this world, she came to survive to adulthood as the world suffered from the supervillain uprising which massacred its heroes. In this time, Dani raised the baby Hulk, Bruce Banner Jr., who Old Man Logan had left with her in the Wastelands. When Logan returned to his original timeline, he was abducted by a group of cannibals. Weeks later, he was saved by Dani and an adolescent Bruce Jr. Immediately after his rescue, Dani punched him in the face, mad that Logan had left her alone for seven years. On the road, Dani explained that people had come looking for Bruce Jr. to shape him into a weapon, which is why they had to keep moving. Logan killing the hulks and Red Skull, followed by his sudden disappearance, left a power vacuum. Some people who desired to be in charge seemed to think that a young hulk would get them to the top of the hierarchy. Others had been trying to kill Bruce Jr. to keep this from happening and for their own safety. Stopping in an abandoned Kansas City, Logan told Dani the story of his disappearance and his adventures with the X-Men. Dani expressed remorse when finding out that Logan was dying. After hugging him, she noticed that Bruce Jr, had disappeared from their campsite. Dani and Logan found him at a public library, where he was fighting men from the tranquility temple, cultists who were out to kill the young hulk. Once the cultists released a Hulk-Killer, Logan told Dani and Bruce Jr. to leave the scene while he held the robot back. Logan could not last long against the robot and Dani was soon held at gunpoint while Bruce Jr. had to go up against the Hulk-Killer himself. The young hulk ended up injured badly, though Logan managed to destroy the Hulk-Killer. After Logan took care of the cultists, he and Dani drove Bruce Jr. to South Dakota for Forge and his wife Elinoire to fix him up. Right as Logan was about to leave for Sacramento, Sabretooth and his gang of his clones drove up to Forge’s compound. While chaos erupted outside the compound, Sabretooth managed to abduct Bruce Jr. so Dani and Logan went after him.
