He faxed this information to Jesse who was then sent to inform the Justice Society of the threat. (Justice Society of America v2 #5)

Jesse along with her father came to Keystone City along with other speedsters including Max Mercury and Jay Garrick]] when all were called by Wally West. Whilst together, Max Mercury came to relate the origin of his powers and revealed that all the speedsters drew on a shared energy source called the Speed Force. Around this time, Wally West had faced the threat from Kobra where he feared that he might die in he confrontation. As such, he had been training Bart Allen to take over the mantle of the Flash but felt he was not ready and instead decided that Jesse Quick should replace him if he died much to her surprise. (The Flash v2 #97)

She then experienced the strange sensation that she had to meet Wally West over a matter concerning her father. Upon arriving at his home, Wally claimed to had not heard anything but they were interrupted by Tina McGee who arrived at the scene to ask for the Flash's help. This was because her husband Jerry McGee had ben taking the Velocity 9 drug and become the supervillain Speed Demon once again. Thus, Jesse and Max Mercury accompanied the Flash in order to stop him. Eventually, Wally confessed to her that he was seeing Johnny Quick every time he attained top speed. Whilst there, he managed to encounter Johnny Quick who revealed that he had simply wanted to say his final goodbyes to his daughter but could only interact with Wally as he had a direct connection to the Speed Force. The Flash then helped Jesse Quick reach top speed where her father told her he was proud of her and that she now could continue his race thus giving final closure to both of them. (The Flash Annual v2 #11)

After learning of Zoom, Jesse regretted not being there for Wally and rushed to his side after he was defeated by the new villain. They came to learn that Zoom was Wally's former friend the profiler Hunter Zolomon who had attained powers over local time. Jesse decided that she wanted to help Wally fight this new villain but he refused as their opponent was faster than any speedster and he believed that Quick would become another victim of his attacks. Thus, he raced off to confront Zoom alone where he was overpowered by the villain again until Jesse arrived to save him and she urged him to accept her help. As Zoom caught up with them, Jesse lent her speed equation to Wally thus super-charging his abilities to the point that he was fast enough to fight Zoom in the same time-space. This ultimately was responsible for helping him defeat Zoom who came to be incarcerated at Iron Heights. The incident had affected Jesse in some way as she was no longer able to access her speed mantra and thus unable to tap into the Speed Force. As a result, she came to live as an ordinary human being with Jay Garrick offering her a place in the Justice Society to serve as a business manager for the team. Jesse came to quickly agree with the intention of using this time to also find out how to regain her powers. (The Flash v2 #200)

As a result, she took on her duties at the new business manager of the Justice Society at Garrick's request. He gave her a tour of the rebuilt headquarters and she believed this was the chance to get her life back in order. During this time, she met with Rick Tyler and reconnected with him as the two caught up. (JSA v1 #52)

She and the Justice Society came to work with the new incarnation of the Justice League in stopping the threat of the Starheart. The mystical force had taken control over Alan Scott and created havoc globally over Earth as it caused beings tied to magic to run amok. Jesse participated in the heroes assault against the Starheart's citadel on the Moon where Jade was able to weaken its hold over her father thus allowing Alan Scott to take back control over his body. With the threat defeated, Jesse was invited by Batman to join the Justice League of America where she decided to accept the invitation. (Justice League of America v2 #48)

Post-Flashpoint

Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events. It was revealed that the Speed Force protected Jesse and Max Mercury from the changes in reality but they remained trapped within it. However, when Eobard Thawne possessed the Flash's body, the essences of Jesse and Max came to approached Barry within his mind where they sought to help him learn to restore control over his own form. (The Flash v1 #759)

She later came to manifest fully where she assisted the Flash in battling Thawne and the Legion of Zoom.
