Khan Noonien Singh is a male villain that features in Star Trek.

Khan Noonien Singh was a male genetically engineered superman that was created in the modern age on Earth around the mid-1990's in a time that was mankind's last World War. He was among the various genetic supermen that arose during this time with Khan rising as an absolute ruler of more than a quarter of the world. From 1992 to 1996, he came to be a dictator that ruled from Asia through the Middle East where he was noted for being a ruthless tyrant. Khan was considered the best of these tyrants as though he severely curtailed the freedoms of his subjects but his reign lacked internal massacres or wars of aggression. The Augment tyrants began to war against one another with other nations combining their efforts to force them from power in a series of struggles that became the Eugenics Wars. Around this time, humans came to rise up against the supermen with Khan said to be the last of these tyrants to be overthrown and defeated with their territories being recaptured with 90 of these supermen never being found. Khan managed to escape during the time of the Eugenics Wars where he along with 84 followers looked to evade capture. He decided to live and die under his command rather than face capture with Khan looking to go into about self-imposed exile. (TOS: Space Seed)

On their new world, Khan and his people made use of the Starfleet-issued containers for shelter where they sought to make a new life for themselves. However, in six months a cataclysm caused Ceti Alpha VI led to it shifting the planetary system's orbits leading to Ceti Alpha V moving from its position. The result of massive ecological devastation on Ceti Alpha V and drastically altered the planet's surface. Khan's ingenuity along with the few supplies in the containers allowed his people to survive but many of his followers died at the hands of the indigenous life forms that were the Ceit eels. These parasitic organisms used host bodies for their young with twenty of Khan's people dying slowly maddening deaths at the hands of the eels with this including his wife. Afterwards, they continued to live on the desolate world until 2285 when the U.S.S. Reliant came to their world in search for a test planet for the Genesis Device. The crew of the Starfleet ship believed that they were surveying Ceti Alpha VI and Captain Clark Terrell and Commander Pavel Chekov both transported to the surface to ensure no life existed on it. They uncovered the shelter with Chekov quickly realising who resided on the world but before they could escape they were captured by Khan along with his men. Khan infected the two Starfleet officers with the Ceti Eels to make them suggestable allowing the genetic supermen to take over the U.S.S. Reliant. (Movie: The Wrath of Khan)
